Supervisors have a key role to play in reducing the frequency of injuries and fatalities in our industry. Legally, they have very specific responsibilities regarding health and safety. This course has been designed to make you aware of your supervisory responsibilities and to provide you with information on how to exercise them effectively. In addition to understanding your health and safety responsibilities, this course also provides participants an introduction to basic management skills and information on how to communicate effectively. You will learn how to apply this knowledge successfully as part of the process of becoming a more effective supervisor.
