Although propane fuel is commonly used on construction projects across Ontario, its dangers are often forgotten. Propane is stored at high pressures and is very flammable. If the proper precautions are not taken, extensive damage to life and property can result. Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to recognize and evaluate propane hazards and demonstrate how to safely connect, activate, and disconnect heaters, torches, and propane- powered equipment.
